2Cool4School is a multiplayer flash game based on the classic game "Breakout". The player controls the paddle-ship to bounce the ball and break the bricks. Only now there can be an infinite number of players. All players fight for control of the paddle and everyone's balls are bouncing in different places. This instigates frustration between players, in a game where there is no chance to win without communication and teamwork. As an added bonus there is a chat feature that sometimes exchanges what you type to other players for random insults. Thus the game plays the players, and plays them against each other.

The title was aptly chosen. This flash game was taken off the school server due to security issues with open ports an was down for a long long time. I was successfully able to rewrite the backend to be kosher with the ever increasingly Stalinistic SJSU school firewall. It now utilizes flashcom rather than the PHP the old version relied on. After all this time its back! but the question is, How long?

Instructions

To start:
Type your name into the textfield that says "Your Name" and click the button labeled "Go".

To send a message:
click on the blue/gray text bar below the game screen. Type what you want to send to the other players. Click the button labeled "Send".

Controls:
Left and Right arrow keys move you... you guessed it! Right and left.
