Cool project John!

Although, I'm not sure the cold war mentality is that far behind us, or behind us at all. The players and the terminology has changed - but it often feels like roughly the same kind of rhetoric (ie the war on "terror"). And as far as games+propaganda - I'm not versed enough in first person shooters - but I know there's plenty of jingoistic military type games out there...

3 July 2008Sorry I cannot help with your concern, but I have another problem with the same phone.
My Samsung SGH A 707 was wonderful UNTIL I went to Thailand where I was advised to buy a SIM card there as I was told my American phone would not work. I bought the Thai SIM card and my phone stopped working. I took out the Thai SIM card and replaced it with my American card which just shows this message on the screen: “Phone freeze SIM unavialbel. Please contact service provider”.
We contacted Samsung and they were useless and rude. We contacted Cingular they could not provide any useful information. My computer engineer friend in Thailand said we needed a password but Cingular seemed pretty clueless.
Can anyone help? This just does not seem that complicated!
Thanks for any advice.

Wow, sorry to hear about the ordeal. Have you looked into virgin mobile? They don't require contacts. I've been using it for years, and thinking I'll get a new one from virgin.
